EUNA VAY ‘EUNICE’ MITCHELL

Euna Vay “Eunice” Mitchell, 94, of Red Level, died Tues., Nov. 6, 2012, in Red Level.

Funeral services will be held on Fri., Nov. 9, at 2 p.m., from the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Fairmount Cemetery.

Visitation will be tonight at 5:30 at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Billy Joe Baker; her son, Bobby Mitchell, all of Red Level; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Pauline Wheeler, also of Red Level.

WILLIAM ROBERT ‘BILL’ HICKS

William Robert “Bill” Hicks, 91, of Andalusia, died Tues., Nov. 6, 2012, in a local nursing facility.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., today, Thurs., Nov. 8, at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Minister Chance Hicks officiating. Interment will follow with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and Barbara Hicks of Andalusia; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Greg Hall of Andalusia; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Cecil Hicks and Huey Hicks of Dade City, Fla.; sisters, Mary Blocker of Opp and Polly Smith and Ann Castleberry of Montgomery; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Hicks of Montgomery.

Pallbearers will be Glen Hall, Keith Hall, Nick Wammack, Gary Hicks, Chance Hicks and Ethan Hicks.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Cedar Grove Church of Christ, Comfort Care Hospice, Andalusia Manor or the Alzheimer’s Association.

JEANETTE M. BAILEY

Jeanette M. Bailey, 75, of Andalusia, died Mon., Nov. 5, 2012, in a Foley hospital.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Fri., Nov. 9, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oakey Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Josie Moore Merrill; sisters, Judith Taylor and Rosalyn Merrill; and brothers, Joseph Merrill and David Merrill.

She is survived by her husband, Veston H. Bailey of Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa (Jerry) Archie of Daphne; sons and daughters-in-law, Perry (Wendy) Bailey of Andalusia and Branton (Ashleigh) Bailey of Elberta; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Evan “Tank” (Ophelia) Merrill of Gantt and Willis (Donna) Merrill of Dothan; and her sister, Margaret “Peggy” Wright of the Rawls Community.

ELNA LORAINE ANDREWS

Elna Loraine Andrews, 75, of Andalusia, died Mon., Nov. 5, 2012, in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral services were held Wed., Nov. 7, at 2 p.m., from the Andalusia Full Gospel Tabernacle with the Rev. John Hunt officiating and interment following in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Shelton Andrews; her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Martha Andrews; her daughter, Patricia Russell, all of Andalusia; three grandchildren, Kristi (Ray) O’Brien of Troy, Kim (Seale) Caton of Dothan, and Kacey (Sterling) Sasser of Brantley; five great-grandchildren; two stepchildren and their spouses, Jerry and Carole Andrews of Brandon, Fla., and Judy and Lonnie Carnley of Plant City, Fla.; three step-grandchildren, Daryl (Ann) Carnley of High Springs, Fla., Michelle Andrews and Sean Andrews, both of Lake Wales, Fla.; two step great-grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Pat Curry; her sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Jim Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Curry, and her sister, Jean Lembke.

Pallbearers will be Seale Caton, Ray O’Brien, Sterling Sasser, Daryl Carnley, Lonnie Carnley and Stallion Sasser.
