UPDATE: CCSO investigating shooting in Loango

A 54-year-old woman is dead, and a 68-year-old white male is being treated for multiple gunshot wounds in what appears to be a domestic situation in Loango.

The Covington County Sheriff’s Office has been on the scene since early afternoon.

The incident occurred off Palmer Drive near Soggy Bottom.
