JONI HALLAN

Joni Hallan of Andalusia passed away Mon., Dec. 10, 2012.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Keahey Funeral Home.

 

JAMES RAY RIGDON

James Ray Rigdon, 83, a former resident of Greenville and a resident of Red Level, died on Dec. 6, 2012, at his home.

Funeral services will be noon, today, Tues., Dec. 11, at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Vaughn and the Rev. Carl Turman officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Park with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Blanche W. Rigdon, and a son, Roger Clayton Rigdon.

Survivors include three sons, Richard Ray Rigdon (Hana) of New Braunfels, Texas, James Ronald Rigdon (Jennifer) of Boerne, Texas, and Patrick Russell Rigdon of Red Level; seven grandchildren, Derek Rigdon (April), Nikki Stephens (Amos), Christy Davis, Brian Rigdon, Ashley Carter (Jason), Lauren Green (Clif), and Russell Rigdon (Loran); 13 great-great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Free (Herman) of Prattville; brother, Julian Rigdon (Rhonda) of Cleveland, Tenn.; one niece; and three nephews.

 

MICHELLE JENNINGS

Michelle Jennings, 45, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., Dec. 9, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m., Wed., Dec. 12, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Boles officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include her other, Helena Jennings of Andalusia, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, George Jennings Sr., and her brother, George Jennings Jr.

MARTHA MOTT WARTHEN WORLEY

Martha Mott Warthen Worley, 75, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., Dec. 9, 2012, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wed., Dec. 12, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Boles officiating and interment following in Stonelake Gardens.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda (Ray) Pettit of Andalusia and Carolyn (Jessie) Weaver of Florala; sons, Tommy (Elisha) Averill of Andalusia and Tim (Amanda) Worley; grandchildren, Russell Wallace, Pam Jackson, Bobbie Lynn Cruz, Brandon Averill, Kelley Averill, Zach Averill, Chris Cook, Kristy Lolley, Shawna Worley, Whitney Worley, Destinee Oates and Alyssa Dean; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Bryant of Andalusia; and nieces, Vicki Bryant and Shanna Bryant Davis.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Thomas Warthen and Pearly Olene Warthen.

CATHERINE MARIE SYMANOSKI

Catherine Marie Symanowski, 54, of Andalusia, passed away Thurs., Dec. 6, 2012.

A private memorial service was handled by Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include her mother, Catherine Dudrow of Villa Rica, Ga.; daughter, Mechelle Isabean (Dustin) McMichael of Temple, Ga., and Adrienne Symanoski of Georgia; brothers, Phillip Dudrow of California, Daniel Dudrow of Virginia, Newman Dudrow and Robert Dudrow, both of Georgia; sister, Diane Peachy of Tennessee.

She is preceded in death by her son, Severin Symanoski, and her father, Newman Bradley Dudrow.

WYLENE H. BLACK

Wylene H. Black, 80, of Andalusia, passed away Wed., Dec. 5, 2012, in the Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services were held Sat., Dec. 8, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Boles officiating. Interment followed in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve (Susan) Black of Andalusia; her grandchildren, Bobby Black of Auburn and Angelica Black of Troy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

VONCEIL RABREN THOMPSON

Vonceil Rabren Thompson, 86, of Andalusia, passed away Thurs., Dec. 6, 2012, in a Montgomery hospital.

Funeral services were held Sun., Dec. 9, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Ben May officiating and interment following in Magnolia Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Morgan Rabren, Blair Rabren and Morris Rabren.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Pat Thompson of Andalusia; her daughters and sons-in-law, Terry and Jerry Dunaway of East Brewton and Suzanne and Johnny Fairley of Andalusia; her grandchildren, Ryan (Chanda) Dunaway of Scotsboro, Jeremy and Amber Dunaway of Autaugaville, Erin and John Stephens of East Brewton and Sam Fairley of Andalusia; eight great-grandchildren, Analyssa, Anabeth, Analeaha and Anasophia Dunaway, Emma, Hannah,and Gracie Dunaway, and Will Stephens, a sister, Lucile R. Brawner of Dadeville; one sister-in-law, Betty Rabren of Andalusia; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Jerry Dunaway, Johnny Fairley, John Stephens, Ryan Dunaway, Jeremy Dunaway and Erin Stephens.

Honorary pallbearer was Sam Fairley.
