Andalusia girls win 1st area game

Andalusia’s Laticia Crittenden scored 12 points to help lead the Lady Bulldogs to a 45-20 area victory over Hillcrest-Evergreen on Friday night.

This victory was Andalusia’s first area victory for the girls squad.

Tylesha Malcolm had 11 points to pace AHS.

In boys action, the Bulldogs fell 54-41 to the Jaguars.

Phillip James led AHS with 15 points. Jalen Cross had 14 points.

Rico Savage led Hillcrest with 24 points.

Andalusia will host Monroe County in area action on Tuesday.
