Two members of the LBWCC Ensemble traveled to Atlanta Sunday to audition for NBC’s “The Voice.”

Kayla and Nathan Bagwell of Jack, along with their father, Chris, auditioned for the show.

None of them made it through to the next round, but all said it was a great experience and hope to try out again next year.

“(Sunday) was a great experience, there are so many talented people in this world,” Kayla said. “And I thank God I am one of them. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it, but we were in a room full of great people and no one got through.”

The trio performed individually before a producer.

Kayla sang Adele’s “Make You Feel My Love;” Nathan sang Edwin McCain’s “I’ll Be” and Chris sang Luther Vandross’ “Always and Forever.”

Nathan said, “We had an awesome time. And God always has a plan for everything. But everybody was good in our group.”

Nathan has been singing in the Ensemble since 2010 and is the newest member of the Andalusia-based Southern gospel group Southland and Kayla has been in the LBWC Ensemble since 2011.

All three use their talents at their church, Word of Faith.

“The Voice” is reality talent show that premiered in 2011. It features Carson Daly as the host; Shakira, Usher, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as coaches; Christina Milian as the social media correspondent; and Mary J. Blige, Rob Thomas, Billie Joe Armstrong and Michael Buble as advisers.

Season four premieres Mon., March 25, at 7 p.m. on NBC.
