Barnhill, Starr to exchange vows

Mr. and Mrs. Whitcomb Richard Barnhill of Albany, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Caroline, to William Samuel Starr III of Andaluisa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Samuel Starr II. The wedding will be on March 23, 2013, at the home of the bride’s parents in Albany, Ga.

The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Mrs. Charles Benjamin Carter and the late Mr. Charles Benjamin Carter of Warner Robbins, Ga. She is the paternal granddaughter of Mrs. John Carswell Hind and the late Mr. John Carswell Hind of Albany, Ga.

She is a 2004 graduate of Deerfield Windsor School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in human development and family studies from Auburn University and a master’s degree in early childhood/elemen-tary education from Samford University. She is currently employed at Liberty Park Elementary School as a kindergarten teacher.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Samuel Starr II of Andalusia. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Eiland Eland Anthony of Andalusia and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Terrell Starr of Auburn.

He is a 2002 graduate of Andalusia High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Auburn University and is currently employed with Alfa Insurance.
