Florala put the ball in play and that was good enough in 13-2 area win over Red Level on Tuesday night.

The Wildcats were led by pitcher John Bess, who threw a complete game.

Additionally, Florala’s defense played well behind its pitcher, Wildcats coach Bubba Nall said.

“We ended up beating what I think is a good Red Level team,” Nall said. “They’re well-coached.”

With this win, the Wildcats improve to 5-2 overall, and 1-0 in Class 1A, Area 3.

The Wildcats will be back in action tomorrow night in a home contest against Georgiana.
