Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Wayne Jones of Opp are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauryn Brittany, to Brian Robert Dilworth, son of Dr. and Mrs. Lee Robert Dilworth of Knoxville, Tenn.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. John Wilson Fryer and Mrs. Ramona Wilson Fryer of Opp and the late Mr. Winston Jones and Mrs. Doris

Yancey Jones of Opp.

Miss Jones is a 2006 graduate of Opp High School and a 2009 graduate of Auburn University, where she earned a bachelor of science in communication disorders.

She graduated with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Auburn University in 2011. She was a member of the Chi Omega social sorority. She is currently employed by Cobb Pediatric Therapy Services.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lawson Patterson of Cincinnati, Ohio, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Robert William Dilworth of Montpelier, Ohio.

Mr. Dilworth is a 2004 graduate of The Webb School of Knoxville and a 2008 graduate of Auburn University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology. He was a member of the Beta Theta Pi social fraternity. He will graduate from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile this May and will begin his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Louisville in July.

The couple will unite in marriage at 5 p.m. on Sat., June 1, 2013, at the First Baptist Church in Opelika, with a reception immediately following at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art in Auburn.
