Sherry and Manuel Owens of Andalusia announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Leandria, to Trey Stevens, son of the Rev. Scott and Edna Stevens of Moundville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Elaine and Marvin Owens and Lamar and Juanita Nelson and the late Larry McCormick. She is a 2005 graduate of Straughn High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Alabama and a physical therapist assistant degree from Jefferson State Community College. She is currently employed with Champion Partners in Rehab LLC.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Jackie Stevens and the late Donnie Stevens and Carolyn and Marvin Spiller. He is a 2004 graduate of Hale County High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Alabama. He is currently employed with Alabama Power.

The couple will unite in marriage at 5 p.m. on Sat., June 1, at Harmony Baptist Church.
