The members of the Gantt Area Volunteer Rescue Squad would like to inform the public that the organization is separate from the Gantt Area Fire and Rescue Inc.

The 15-member squad provides emergency medical services to the citizens of Gantt and the surrounding areas. It does not respond to fire calls other than to assist area fire departments at the scene in the event that emergency medical services are needed.

GAVRS and the Gantt Area Fire and Rescue Inc. are two separate entities and do not fly under the same banner.
