ESTELLE PORTER

Estelle Porter died on July 23, 2013, in Douglas, Ga.

Funeral services will be held today, Sat., July 27, at 1 p.m., at First African Baptist Church in Florala. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

She was born June 7, 1935, to Harrison and Donne Mae Porter, the youngest of a twin sister of Essie Bell Gundrum; step-sister to Hubert (Gertrude) Porter; and sister to Juanita (Aaron) McGowley and Essie Bell (Romanuel) Gundrum, all whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four children.

She is survived by her children, Willie (Lisa) Porter, Donald Porter, Mary Lou Turner, David Porter, John Ellis Porter, John Edward Porter, John Wesley Baldwin and Timothy (Susie) Baldwin; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great nephews, and also a few great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews and other relatives as well.
