Andalusia’s varsity and junior varsity volleyball squads finished T.R. Miller’s play date 2-3 on Thursday in Brewton.

The Lady Bulldogs varsity girls beat Monroe County, but fell in matches to Jay, Fla., TRM and Baldwin County.

“I thought we did OK today,” AHS volleyball coach Angie Grimes said

Grimes said nobody took score during the play date.

Andalusia’s JV girls won against Monroe County’s JV squad.

In middle school action, the Lady Bulldogs had to play a team a level up because there weren’t enough teams at the tournament to give an allotted number of matches.

Andalusia will begin its fall volleyball practice on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the AHS volleyball gym.
