RUBY LUCILLE MCGHEE

Ruby Lucille McGhee, 77, of Pensacola, Fla., passed away Mon., Aug. 5, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Lucille was born in Andalusia on Feb. 10, 1936.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Levis Paige Henderson; her father, Egie Taylor; her sisters, Darlene Henderson and Maxine (Taylor) Lalas.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, W.K. (Ken) McGhee; a brother, Homer Taylor (Sue); sister, Voncille Garrett; and many other wonderful family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thurs., Aug. 8, 2013, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with visitation one hour prior. The Rev. Bill Flannigan officiating. Interment will follow at Dozier Cemetery.

Kenneth H. Alexander, 60, of Brewton, passed away on Wed., July 31, 2013, at his residence.

A memorial service is to be held at 2 p.m., Sun., Aug. 11, at Hoomesville Church of Christ in Demascus.

Survivors include a daughter, Debra L. Alexander of Brooklyn; sister, Linda Diane Lucas of Brooklyn; several grandchildren and a great grandson.

Nola Faye Little, 67, of River Falls, passed away Mon., August 5, 2013, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thurs., Aug. 8, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Barry Wilkerson officiating. Interment will follow in Oakey Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Fred Little of River Falls; sons, John (Roseann) Riddle and Josh (Adrianne) Hammonds both of Andalusia; daughters, Karen (Dale) Messer of Lockhart, Jennifer Montgomery of Andalusia, and Amanda (Randy) Barefoot of Andalusia; sisters, Rebecca Brooks of Florala and Carolyn (Eddie) Pilkington of North Carolina; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

June Jernigan Killings-worth, 80, of Andalusia passed away Sat., Aug. 3, 2013, in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tues., Aug. 6, 2013, at Keahey Funeral Home.

The Rev. Harold Morris and the Rev. Gary Miller officiated. Burial followed in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
