New York, Texas on top

Onondaga, N.Y. and Mid County, Texas are the top seeds heading into today’s bracket play of the 2013 Babe Ruth Baseball 16-18 World Series.

New York and Texas, out of the American and National Divisions, respectively, won’t play until tomorrow.

The No. 2 seed out of the National Division is the Mobile Rawdogs. The other Mobile team – the Bombers – are the No. 2 seed out of the American division.

Fond Du Lac, Wisc. and Dexter, Mo. are the tournament’s No. 3 seeds.

Dexter and thr Rawdogs start today’s bracket play at LBWCC at 4 p.m. Fond Du Lac and the Bombers have the night cap at 7.

New York plays the winner of the Dexter-Rawdogs game at 4 Wednesday afternoon; and Texas plays the Wisconsin-Bombers winner at 7 p.m.

The championship is at 6 Thursday night.
