WYLENE WILLIAMS

Wylene Williams, born Dec. 16, 1924, in Red Level, to Lee and Linnie South passed away on Aug. 16, 2013, in a local nursing home.

Funeral services were held on Sun., Aug. 18, at 2:30 p.m., from the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Fairmount Cemetery in Red Level with the Rev. Bill Pritchett officiating.

Mrs. Williams moved to New York in her earlier life, and while living there, she was a homemaker and an active member in her church. She taught Sunday school for beginners for many years as well as vacation Bible school. She was a wonderful cook who enjoyed entertaining friends and family. Everyone enjoyed coming to her home for a meal, party or casual visit. Her love for sewing clothing and making crafts led her to a job in a local fabric store.
