Andalusia High School freshmen got a firsthand look Friday at what life was like in Covington County throughout its history.

To do that, some 100 students filled the Three Notch Museum and were regaled with tales of times past by local historian Sue Bass Wilson. Wilson gave students a guided tour of the property. The students then used that information to complete an assignment for Coach Perry Dillard – a timeline of Andalusia history for the upcoming Smithsonian Exhibit, ‘The Way We Worked.’

The traveling exhibit will be featured at the Andalusia Chamber of Commerce Jan. 2 through Feb. 9.
