Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Dean of Enterprise are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lora Michelle, to Jim Landon Butts, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Butts of Dozier.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Linda Thomas of Enterprise and the late Jack Thomas; and the late Noble and Frances Dean of Enterprise.

She is a 2007 graduate of Enterprise High School and is currently employed with Whitaker & Warren Insurance Company in Enterprise.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Ms. Louise Lanier of Opp, and the late Jim Lanier of Dozier, and the late Earl and Nellie Butts of Opp.

He is a 2008 graduate of Straughn High School and a 2010 graduate of Enterprise/Ozark Community College, where he earned a degree in Aviation Technology. He is currently employed with AFS in Fort Rucker.

The couple will wed on Jan. 4, 2014, 4 p.m., at the First Assembly of God Church in Enterprise, Alabama. Invitations are being sent, but all friends and relatives are invited to attend. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.

After a cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will make their home in Ozark.
