The 11-12 Opp Cal Ripken All-Stars were presented their 2013 state and southeastern regional championship rings on Sat., Feb. 1, at the Moody-Sorrells cabin.

A cookout was given to the team and its families to celebrate the team’s successes during district, state, regional and World Series play last year.

Opp coach Robbie Ross spoke to the team, expressing to each player how proud he was of them and their accomplishments.

Additionally, Ross presented each player a certificate from U.S. Rep. Martha Roby for their extraordinary efforts for winning the regional and competing in the World Series in Hammond, Ind.

At the end of the ceremony, each player was given their championship ring.
