Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp, Gantt and River Falls Police Departments Thurs., March 13, 2014:

• Hinton Short, 42, for violation of probation, and held without bond.

• Desmond Young, 25, for possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest and held on a $330,000 bond.
