The Tiger Quick Stop is open for business and under new management, officials said Tuesday.

The store opened on Monday next door to Straughn Elementary School.

Shunkisha “Shundy” Smith said the store is owned and managed by Whitney Jones.

Store hours are from 5:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and opens at 6 a.m. on Saturdays. Store is closed on Sunday.

On Friday nights when the Straughn Tigers have a home football game, the store will stay open late.

The store offers piping hot biscuits and cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and for lunch it offers different fare.

One can also order Hunts Brothers pizza from the store.

Smith said one can also find anything else to be found in a convenience store.

The store also offers both unleaded and non-ethanol gas as well as diesel fuel.
