Bobby and Tami McDuffie of Andalusia are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Taylor McDuffie, to Klint Short, son of David and Ginny Short of Opp.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Harold and Allene Ward of Brooklyn and Helen Bates of Andalusia and Charles McDuffie and the late Patricia McDuffie of Andalusia.

She is a 2014 graduate of Pleasant Home School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Wayne and Betty Danford of Opp, Janet Short and the late Donald Short of Opp.

He is a 2007 graduate of Opp High School and a 2012 graduate of Troy University.

The wedding is set for Aug. 16, at 3 p.m., at Mill Creek Baptist Church in Andalusia.

No local invitations will be sent.
