The “miracle workers” were hard at work last night, frying catfish and cooking up the trimmings for Meredith’s Miracles’ annual fundraiser last night.

Meredith’s Miracles helps families who have to leave the area to receive sub-specialty care that is not available locally with their non-medical related expenses. Those expenses can be anything from food, car rentals, gas or lodging expenses. The charity was founded in memory of Meredith McGlamory in 2005. Since then, the group has raised almost $400,000 and helped 580 families.
