The Andalusia Fire Department responded to a house fire at 200.5 Stewart St. shortly after 12 a.m. Tuesday.

Chief Ethan Dorsey said the fire is under investigation. The state marshal was in Andalusia to investigate on Tuesday, and Dorsey said he expects the investigation to continue today.

There was no power to the structure, Dorsey said. The house, which was occupied by a renter, was a total loss, Dorsey said.
