The Florala Wildcats manhandled the J.F. Shields Panthers 64-14 Friday night.

“I was really proud of the way our guys came out and played after such a tough loss to Kinston last week,” said Wildcats’ head coach Brad Rhodes. “Really glad the seniors got to go out on a high note.”

The Wildcats had the game in the bag by halftime with a 56-6 lead.

“On defense we played shutout football with the exception of the first play when they scored on a deep ball,” said Rhodes. “Then they scored there at the end of the game.”

Avery McNeill had three touchdowns on the night with one rushing and two passing. Both passing touchdowns were thrown to Ray Hall.

“I’m really proud of how we started out tonight, and I’m proud of what our seniors and this entire team has accomplished,” said Rhodes.
