GLENDORA MAE LILES COOPER

Mrs. Glendora Mae Liles Cooper, better known as “Dodie,” 87, of Red Level, died Thurs., Nov. 27, 2014, at her residence.

Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m., from New Hope Independent Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Parker officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Cooper is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Floyd Wood of Andalusia; five sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Cyndi Cooper and Rick and Donna Cooper, all of Shorterville, Tim and Janet Cooper and Tony and Beverly Cooper, all of Andalusia and Scott and Renee Cooper of Red Level; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Cooper, Jr.; and a grandson, Stephen Cooper.

Pallbearers/grandsons are Clayton Wood, Lance Wood, Jason Cooper, Dan Cooper, Nick Cooper and Ian Cooper.

The family will accept flowers or donations made to New Hope Independent Baptist Church.

Visitation was Fri., Nov. 28, at Foreman Funeral Home. Mrs. Cooper will also lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

JOHN D. HARRELSON JR.

Mr. John D. Harrelson Jr., 78, of Florala, died Wed., Nov. 26, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services will be today at 10:30 a.m., from Enon Baptist Church with the Rev. Judd Holderfield and the Rev. Donny Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Enon Cemetery. Visitation will be one-hour prior to services at the church.

Mr. Harrelson is survived by his wife, Betty Harrelson of Florala; son and daughter-in-law, Flint and Christine Harrelson of Florala; two grandchildren, Shane (Candice) Harrelson and Shaun Harrelson, all of Florala; one great-grandchild, Brenna Harrelson; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles and Barbara Ann Harrelson and Randy Harrelson, all of Opp; and one sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Bobby Joe Hattaway of Opp.

Pallbearers include Shane Harrelson, Shawn Harrelson, Keith Norris, Cal Norris, Jonathan Norris and Jacob Norris.
