The Opp Lady Bobcats knocked in five runs in the top of the seventh to down Enterprise 6-5 Thursday night in Enterprise.

Enterprise was up 1-0 for the majority of the game, before going up 4-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning.

In the top of the seventh, the Lady Bobcats mounted a comeback Paige Johnson, Anna Harrelson and Tiffani Dean each drove in a run to tie the game up 5-5.

The Lady Bobcats took the lead one batter later when Sarah Ballard drew a bases loaded walk to give the Lady Bobcats a 6-5 lead.

Courtney Chatham got the final three outs in the bottom of the seventh to give the Lady Bobcats the win.

“When we were down 4-1, I told the girls that if it ends at 4-1 that would be sweet,” Lady Bobcats’ head coach Jimmy Reeves said. “It just made it sweeter with a with a five-run seventh to win it.”

Johnson led the Tigers at the plate going 3-for-4 with three singles, one run and one RBI.

Chatham picked up the win on the mound for the Lady Bobcats with a complete game. Chatham recorded six strikeouts, and only allowed two earned runs off six scattered base hits.

“Chatham was lights out on the mound,” Reeves said. “She is pitching really well for us right now. In fact, both of our pitchers are throwing well.”

The Lady Bobcats will travel to Dothan this weekend for the Terry Collins Memorial Tournament at the Westgate Softball Complex.
