LUCINE FRANKLIN HAMM

Mr. Lucine Franklin (Frank) Hamm, 82, of Covington County, passed away on Sun., April 26, 2015, in Lakeland, Fla.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat., May 2, 2015, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church on Five Points Road in Dozier. The Rev. Eugene Meadows will be officiating. The family will meet with friends prior to and after the service.

He is survived by his son, Daniel Hamm of Lakeland; his grandchildren, Matthew Hamm and Danielle Hamm; two brothers, Leon Ham of Andalusia and Lavon Ham of Elba; and three sisters, Ann Farver of Enterprise, Mary Williams Waller of Brewton and Saundra Williams Ellis of Brewton.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Judith Miller; and his parents, Karen Williams and Chester Hamm.

DORIS WHITEHOUSE BRYAN

Mrs. Doris Whitehouse Bryan, 89, a resident of Brantley, died Tues., April 28, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat., May 2, 2015, at the Brantley Baptist Church with the Rev. Travis Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Brantley Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Bryan was preceded in death by her husband, Terry J. Bryan; her parents, Harry H. and Hattie Temple Whitehouse; and two brothers, William Porter Whitehouse and Harry H. Whitehouse, Jr.

She is survived by three sons, David (Laura) Bryan, Tom (Jean Ellen) Bryan and Tim (Cindy) Bryan; seven grandchildren, Will Bryan, Terry Bryan, Page (Eric) Rubin, Anna Bryan, Tommy Bryan, Andrew Bryan and Brannon Bryan; and one great-grandson, Sam Rubin.

Active pallbearers will be Tommy Bryan, Terry Bryan, Will Bryan, Andrew Bryan, Brannon Bryan and Mike Mount.

The family requests that any memorial donations be made to the Brantley Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until service time.

BILLY JOE IVEY

Mr. Billy Joe Ivey, 74, of Opp, passed away on Fri., April 24, 2015, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow, Fri., May 1, 2015, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. The family will meet with friends prior to and after the service.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Ivey of Opp; his daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Tony Leddon of Andalusia, and Donna Michelle and Al Chickosky of Enterprise; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Leslie Ivey of Red Level; a stepdaughter, Diane Carden of Clute, Texas; a step son, Russell Carden of Angleton, Texas; his grandchildren, Ethan Gobea, Robbie Noland, Brandon Whatley, Kip Whatley, Summer Ivey, Rebecca Freeman, Jordan Freeman, Miles Freeman, Devin Freeman, David Carden and Phillip Carden; several great-grandchildren; four brothers, Bobby Ivey of Red Level, Ferrell Ivey of Prattville, Phillip Ivey of Arkansas and Buck Ivey of Mobile; and two sisters, Sara Grice of Andalusia and Margie Carnley of Arizona.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jess Ivey; and his parents, Jesse and Anna Ivey.

CECIL LARRY DAY

Mr. Cecil Larry Day, 63, of Andalusia, passed away on Sun., April 26, 2015, at his residence.

Graveside services were held on Tues., April 28, at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Brother Michael McVay officiating.

He is survived by his father, Cecil Day of Andalusia; two sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara Laine Henderson of Montgomery, and Tammi and Royce Bass of Andalusia; a brother and sister-in-law, George A. and Joyce Day of Andalusia; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Sibyl Bass Day.

Pallbearers were Tim Day, Chris Day, Larry Vann, Bryan Bass, Royce Bass and Tyler Wingard.
