The Lady Warriors topped the Lady Thunder 18-10 Thursday night in Andalusia City League girls’ basketball action at Johnson Park.

Coutlyn Knight got the Lady Thunder on the board in the first period, and Alyha Robertson dropped in a bucket for the Lady Warriors to make the score 2-2 heading into the second period.

Ruby Cooper got things rolling in the second period for the Lady Warriors with 4 points to put her team up 8-6 lead at halftime.

Brianna Florence and Zion Williams each scored for the Lady Thunder in the second period.

Kanari Gay got a bucket to start the third period for the Lady Thunder.

The Lady Warriors then got jumpers from Zanyia Anderson and Jaden Robertson to put them on top 12-8 heading into the final period.

Alyha Robertson picked up 4 points in the fourth period, and Anderson dropped in 2 points to push the Lady Warriors to an 18-10 win.

Gay picked up the Lady Thunders’ points in the fourth period with a layup.

Alyha Robertson led the Lady Warriors with 6 points.

Gay led the Lady Thunder with 4 points.
