The Andalusia Police Department released the following statement regarding a death investigation conducted on Sat., Feb. 13, 2016:

 

“Around 6:45 PM Saturday, Andalusia Police officers responded to an incident on Dixon Street involving a death. Upon arrival officers discovered a dead male subject in the road. The man’s identity is not being released pending notification of family. Circumstances surrounding the death are being investigated and further details will be released later.”
