BRENDA P. TANNER

Mrs. Brenda P. Tanner, 55, of Opp passed away Feb. 17, 2016, at Mizell Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service was held on Feb. 19, 2016, in the Old Bethel Cemetery with the Rev. Jordan Faulk and Jerry Elmore officiating and Keahey Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by her husband, Dwight Tanner; mother, Ruby Carter; brothers, Kenny and Jeffery (Dora) Pate; and sister, Linda (Eugene) Horath.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Pate and her step-father, Fred Carter.

 

MICHAEL FRED LITTLE

Mr. Michael Fred Little, 48, passed away Thurs., Feb. 18, 2016, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held a 2:30 p.m., Sun., Feb. 21, 2016, in the Keahey Funeral Home with the Rev. Derwood Cleiland officiating. The burial will follow in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Sat., Feb. 20, in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends at their residence tonight at 24950 Covington St. in River Falls.

He is survived by his father, Thomas “Buster” (Betty) Jackson of River Falls; brothers, Jame Jackson of River Falls, Billy Ray Jackson of River Falls and Don (Summer ) Jackson of Andalusia; sisters, Darlene Burck of Evergreen, Wanda Bartlett of Lenox, and Sharon McKinley of Monroeville; several nieces and nephews, and his paternal grandmother, Hazel Scruggs of Opp.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Castlelo; grandfather, T.J. Jackson; and his maternal grandparents, Willie and Elmer Gantt.
