This year’s Special Adventures Day will be held Friday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

It is sponsored by the FOP Lodge 19.

Thomas Huggins of the FOP said that this is one of the many things that the organization’s fundraising proceeds go toward.

The annual FOP Pistol Competition makes this possible.

Huggins invites the public to attend Friday’s event and cheer on the students.

The event is a morning of fun for special needs children throughout the county.

It will be held at Opp’s Channell-Lee Stadium, which is located on Brantley Street near Mizell Memorial Hospital.
