A teen driver and three passengers were transported to area hospitals for treatment of injuries Thursday afternoon, according to State Troopers.

Trooper Spokesperson Kevin Cook said that a single vehicle accident occurred Thursday at 3 p.m., on Tervin Mill Road.

“A 16-year-old teenager from Andalusia was driving a 2006 Hyundai Tucson that ran off the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned,” he said.

There were two air ambulances on scene at the accident.

Cook said there was nothing else available to report, and that the accident is still under investigation.
