Television host Kim Gravel will be the keynote speaker at this year’s annual ladies event held at Babbie Baptist Church.

Gravel is a recurring contributor on The Steve Harvey Show and Headline News Network.

She also appears on SiriusXM Radio’s Dirty Pop with Lance Bass in the weekly advice column segment “Gravel Mail” and starred in the weekly docu-series Kim of Queens, which aired on Lifetime.

Last year, she launched an apparel and cosmetic line – Belle By Kim Gravel on QVC.

Gravel is a sought after keynote speaker, specializing in the areas of women’s empowerment, inspirational motivation, and beauty and image perception.

Gravel is from Atlanta, where she hosts her own sold-out women’s conferences annually.

In 1991, at the age of 19, Gravel became one of the youngest Miss Georgias in the state pageant’s history. She went on to represent her home state in the renowned Miss America pageant and as a result was asked to serve as US Goodwill Ambassador to Japan. Combining her expertise skills of communication and leadership, Kim is also a certified life coach. Her compassionate yet straight forward “Dr. Phil-esqe” style keeps her in high demand as a Life Coach, mentor, adviser and consultant, according to her website bio.

“It’s amazing to have Kim (Gravel) as our speaker,” Seasons of the Heart Ministry member Becky Anderson said. “She is a great speaker and a fantastic entertainer.”

Anderson said that the purpose of the conference is to lead women in their walk with the Lord.

“We want to spread the idea of the importance of being precious in the Lord’s sight and what it means to be a daughter of Him,” Anderson said.

An hour prior to the event, Babbie Baptist Church is having their “Extravagant Dessert Party,” where attendees are welcome to come snack and socialize.

The event is scheduled for Oct. 10 at 6:45 p.m.

Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at Babbie Baptist Church.
