Charles L. "Pat" Patterson

Charles L. "Pat" Patterson, 74, of Andalusia, died Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 19, at 2 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Faircloth. Burial will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include wife, Lorene Patterson, Andalusia; son in law, Sam Maloy, Atlanta, Ga.; two grandchildren, Brook Maloy, Auburn and Bridget Maloy, Auburn.

Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Patterson Maloy.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions to the American Cancer Society can be made.

Judy Faye Hildreth Miller

Judy Faye Hildreth Miller, 58, of Dozier, died Tuesday, July 16, 2002 in Andalusia.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m. in the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Drexel Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Dale Rodney Doughtie, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers, Frank Ham, Red Level, Lavon Ham, New Brockton, Leon Ham, Andalusia; three sisters, Ann Farver, Enterprise, Mary Waller, Brewton, Saundra Ellis, Brewton.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Thursday July 18, at Foreman Funeral Home.

Kristy Holtz

Kristy Holtz, 19, a resident of Florala, died suddenly in a one car accident on County Road 89 as she was enroute to Enterprise, Tuesday, July 16, 2002. A recent graduate of Florala High School where she was Salutatorian of Class of 2001. While in school she was active in all phases of student clubs being a member of the Beta Club, Math Club, Annual Staff, Energy Board and served as a varsity cheerleader while in high school. Following her graduation in May, she was continuing her education at LBW Jr. College in Andalusia. She was also employed part time at Moody's Drug Store in Florala. She was a member of the Smyrna Baptist Church.

Survivors include her father and mother, Randy and Cathy Holtz; her sister and brother, Amy Holtz and Robert Holtz all of Florala; grandparents, Robert Holtz of St. Augustine, Fla, Ruth Birge of Florala; and Edna Fleming of Florala.

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 18, at 11 a.m. from Evans Funeral Home in Florala with Rev. Rick Fountain and Rev. Horace Franklin officiating. Interment in the Smyrna Cemetery.
