Intimidators bowl into first

Five weeks remain in the Thursday Night Mixed Bowling League at Boland Lanes II in Andalusia, with the Intimidators in first place after 11 weeks of the 16-week season.

The Always "One" squad is in second followed by the PFUI!! team. Rounding out the standings are the Trauma Team, Kinfolk and Granny's Brood.

Last week's top bowlers were Vickie Hejnal, Joy Terry and Molly Robertson among the women. Hejnal had the best scratch game with a 183. Terry had the best scratch series with a 490 and the best handicap game with a 216. Robertson had the best handicap series with a 598.

Buddy Jay was the top bowler among the men with a 245 scratch game and a 249 handicap game.

MIXED LEAGUE

The Alley Cats are in first place after five weeks of the 16-week season. The Last Call team is in second with the Roll Tide team in third.

The top bowlers among the men last week were B.J. Odom Jr., Toby Freeman and Robert Cross. Odom had a 571 scratch series and 640 handicap series for top honors. Freeman had the best scratch game score with a 215. Cross had the best handicap game score with a 241.

Darlene Odom and Maryann Andrews were the top bowlers among the women. Odom had the best scratch game with a 181, the best handicap game with a 258 and the best handicap series with a 631. Andrew had the best scratch series with a 509.
