Edna Gavin Mancil

Edna Gavin Mancil, of Andalusia, died Sunday, July 28, 2002 at her residence.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 31, at Keahey Funeral Home with Rev. Woodrow Plant officiating.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Mancil; two sons and daughters-in-law, Walter and Mary Mancil; Tim and Stephanie Mancil; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Cindy and George Oglesby; daughter Elle L. Mancil, all of Andalusia; daughter and Kay and John Taylor of Montgomery; Judy Lawson of Andalusia; sister Claudine Ritch of Montgomery; grandsons, Brant Oglesby, Jarrod Oglesby and Robbie Lawson; and granddaughter, Courtney Mancil;

and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Calvin Walker, Rocky Lundy, Vince Faulk, Dan Hall, Harry William and Mike Dunnan.

Virginia Hales Hartin

Virginia Hales Hartin, 81, of Red Level, died Monday, July 29, 2002 in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 31 at 2 p.m. from Foreman Funeral Home with burial in Fairmount Cemetery with Rev. Drexel Copeland and Rev. Leroy Cole officiating. Special music was provided by Rebecca and Calab Rogers.

Survivors include a son and daugher-in-law, Wayne and Linda Hartin of Andalusia; two daughters and a son-in-law, Joanne Kelley of Andalusia and Betty and Joseph Kiley of Carriere Mississippi; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Pallbearers include Ezra Posey, Chad Williams, ottis Reynolds, Greil Chesser, Bill Collins and Don Ray.

Queenie Riley Patterson

Queenie Riley Patterson of Maryland, formerly of Andalusia died Monday, May 29, 2002 in Maryland.

Memorial services are set for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3 at Carolina Baptist Church with Rev. Anthony Clark. All friends and relatives are invited.

Survivors include daughter, Janie Steplowski; son, Frank Patterson, of Maryland; a brother, Frank Riley, San Diego, Calif.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy Marie Warner

Dorothy Marie Warner, 78, of Andalusia died Monday, July 29, 2002 at an Andalusia hospital.

Memorial services are set for 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Wossilek officiating. Special music will be provided by Tom Parsons.

Survivors include husband, Wayne Warner of Andalusia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Henry Loonsfoot of Andalusia; Jeanette and Roger Zinn of Witcaita, Ks.; one son, Jimmy Boyer of Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Betty Migneault of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Robert Wayne Matthew, Carla Tupin, Michael Logan Zinn, Jason Robert Lee; eighteen grandchildren; step grandchildren, Lary Warner and Cathy, Michael Warner and Debbie, Sharon Shipley and Jim, Linda Longerlord and John, Janet Warner all of San Antonio, Tx.

Jessie Carter Rosenow

Jessie Carter Rosenow, 95, of Andalusia died Saturday, July 27, 2002 in an Andalusia nursing facility.

She was a retired school teacher and taught writing and reading at the Learning Center.

Memorial services are set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Judd Stinson officiating.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Neva Carter, Andalusia; grandchildren, Alan Carter and wife Judy of Crestwood Ky.; Becky Archie and husband Bob of Oviedo, Fla., Teri Carter, Winter Park, Fla.; three great grandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by her second husband, Henry Rosenow and son, Ralph Carter.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Foreman Funeral Home.

Memorial may be made to the First United Methodist Church.

Fronnie S. Robbins

Fonnie S. Robbins, of Mascotte, Fla. formerly of Andalusia died Friday, July 26, 2002 in Florida.

She moved to centeral Florida from Andalusia in 1968.

Graveside services were held Thurs. Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. Antioch Cemetery with Rev. Janet Looby officiating. Burial will follow in Foreman Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by a son, George Robbins of Lake Worth, Fla., three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Edward Long Robbins.
