Mary Lou Clark

Mary Lou Clark, 95, a resident of Millbrook died Saturday, August 3, 2002.

Funeral services were held

Monday at 1 p.m. from Ridout's Prattville Chapel with Rev. Bobby Hicks officiating. Graveside service were at 4 p.m. at Antioch Congregational Church Cemetery in Andalusia.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Leroy Campbell of Millbrook; three grandchildren, Debbie Golden and Diane Bass of Prattville, and Doyle Campbell of Millbrook; seven

great-grandchildren and four great grand children; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ethel Pope Jacobs

Ethel Pope Jacobs, 76, of Montgomery, died Friday, August 2, 2002 at her residence.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 4, 2002 at 2 p.m. from Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. E.D. Helton and Harold Burnette officiating.

She is preceded in death by her husband Garland Jacobs and her son Larry Jacobs. She is survived by her granddaughter Kara (Tab) Cosby, one daughter-in-law Bettye Jacobs all of Montgomery, one sister Sarah P. (Glen) Anderson of Andalusia and

a host of other relatives. Active pallbearers were Mark Anderson, Walker Jacobs, Tab Cosby, Glen Anderson, Benny Barrow and Mike Anderson. Honorary pallbearers were the members

of "His Sunday School Class" at Eastmont Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Eastmont Baptist Church or to Baptist Hospice. Leak Memory Chapel Directing.

Brenda Weaver

Brenda Weaver, 54, Andalusia died Monday, August 5, 2002 in a Dothan Hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Keahey Funeral Home.

Ethel Mae Hale Bozeman

Ethel Mae Hale Bozeman, 94, of Pensacola, formerly of Covington County died Sunday, August, 4, 2002 in a Pensacola Nursing Facility.

Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2002 at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Faircloth officiating.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda Kelley, of Opp; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Aubrey Dan Hale, of Ozark; a sister, Dorothy Powers, of Andalusia.

Pallbearers were Truman Griggs, Richard Patterson, Terry Posey,

George Posey, Alan Gray, Adrian Childers.

Leona Mae Taylor

Leona Mae Taylor, age 77 of Pensacola, died Friday, August 2, 2002 in a local hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 16, 1924 in Red Level, to Mr. and Mrs. John Capps. She has been a resident of Pensacola since 1954.

Ms. Taylor was retired from Monsanto and a member of Pine Forest Pentecostal Church. After her retirement, she spent most of her leisure time making baby heirloom apparel for various specialty shops.

Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Elaine Taylor; granddaughter, Angela Renee' Reed, both of Pensacola; sister, Lelia Capps Gebhard (Harold) of Pensacola; brothers, Robert Capps (Barbara) of DeFuniak Springs, Fla and Cecil Capps (Gracie) of Red Level. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Graveside services were held 2 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2002 in Fairmount Cemetery, Red level with Sister Hazel Godwin officiating.

Pallbearers will be Charles Bowen, Harvey Godwin, Harold Gebhard, Wayne Bennett, Jimmy Hall and Ron Wood.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home South is in charge of arrangements.

Stanley Ray Bowen

Stanley Ray Bowen, 50, of Andalusia died Sunday, August 4, 2002 in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 7 at 11 a.m. from the Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Ganus and Rev. Robert Canant officiating. Burial will be in the Bushfield Cemetery near McKenzie.

Survivors include his wife Diane Bowen of Andalusia; two sons, Ray and Tracy Bowen, both of Andalusia; seven stepchildren, Todd Carroll and Kristi Watts of Andalusia, Renee Nichols of Brantley, Carrie Johnson of Evergreen, Penny Broome of Adrian, Mich., Robin Randell of Durant, Okla., and Wesley Cross of Andalusia; two grandchildren, Alex and Trey Bowen of McKenzie; five sisters, Glyndia Baker of Red Level, Gayle Smith of Georgiana, Diane Ledbetter of Andalusia, Sandra Robertson of McKenzie and Jane Bowen of Andalusia and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents Marvin and Jewel Bowen, a brother, Donnie Bowen and a step son, Lee Jay Carroll.

Pallbearers will be James Scrubbs, Bobby Baker, Rickey Smith, Terry Ledbetter, R.T. Browder, Patrick Watts, Cody Johnson and Stan Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Aron Bowen, Stephen Bowen and Trey Bowen.
