Michael Alan Couch
Michael Alan Couch, 16, of Andalusia, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002 in Andalusia.
A funeral was held Saturday, Aug. 24 at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church – Andalusia with Rev. Joel Faircloth officiating. Music was provided by Kay Ingram, soloist and Jeanice Kirkland, pianist. Burial followed in Enon Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Couch; a brother, Zachary Michael Couch; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Couch; maternal grandmother, Karen Vann, all of Andalusia; maternal grandfather, Vernon Mims of St. Simons Island, Ga.; aunts and uncles, Alan and Janice Couch, Dawn and Rocky Spaulding, Mickey and Pam Carter, Luckey Mims, Brend and Frank Aranbula; and several cousins.
Memorials may be made to The American Heart Association.
Pallbearers were Neal Patterson, Cole Sightler, Michael Dutton, Josh Johnson, C.T. Eldridge and Lee Brannon. Honorary pallbearers were the Andalusia High School Football Team.
Clea Ottis Stallings
Clea Ottis Stallings, 57, of Red Level, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002 at his residence.
A funeral was held Sunday, Aug. 25 at 2 p.m. at Andalusia Church off God with Rev. Carl Turman officiating. Music was provided by "Won by Faith" and "Praises For." Burial followed in Fairmount Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Stallings of Red Level; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and John Davis of Atmore; stepchildren, Chanel and Carl Giddens of Andalusia, Matthew Kelley, Keith Kelley, both of Red Level, and Jeanette and Tommy Cobb of Evergreen; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Gene Stallings of Red Level; three sisters, Annette Aundra of Orlando, Fla., Jackie Hallford of Red Level, and Brenda Stallings of Huntsville.
Russell D. Padgett Sr.
Russell D. Padgett Sr., 72, of Andalusia died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002 in a Mobile hospital after an extended illness.
Funeral arrangements were directed by Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Era Hall Kelley
Era Hall Kelley, 91, of Pleasant Home community, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002 at her residence.
A funeral was held Saturday, Aug. 24 at 2:30 p.m. at Pleasant Home Baptist Church with Rev. Fred J. Kelley and Rev. Fred R. Kelley officiating. Music was provided by Jimmy Willis. Burial followed in Pleasant Home Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include
five sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph and Jearldyne Kelley of Lewisville, Texas, Joe and Bonita Kelley, Billy Kelley, Jamie and Sheila Kelley, all of Andalusia, and John and Margie Kelley of Robertsville; five daughters and sons-in-law, Faye and Carl Talbert of Winter Park, Fla, Charlotte Thomasson, Alice Davis, both of Andalusia, Sue Willis of Waynesville, N.C. and Cynthia and Mark Gunter of River Falls; 33 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Prestwood of Andalusia, Louise Davis of Marion, N.C., and Naomi Buskirk of Opelika; and a sister-in-law, Juanita Hall of Wilsonville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Allen Kelley; two grandsons, Lee Thomasson and Rusty Willis; a sister, Ruth Alderman; and three brothers, Ralph Hall, Fred Hall, and Roscoe Hall.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
