Sam Williamson

Sam Williamson, 70,

of Dozier died Friday at his residence.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rose Hill Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include the mother of his children, Annie Clyde (Totsie) Williamson; four sons, Jerry Williamson, Terry Williamson, both of Andalusia, Gary Williamson of Antioch and Jim Williamson of Atlanta; a brother, J.W. Williamson of Heath; a sister, Nell Moore of Samson; and two granchildren, Cory and Eric Williamson.

In lieu of flowers, contributions

may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of ones choice.

Ruby Kelley Teel

Ruby Kelley Teel, 98, of Andalusia died Friday, Aug. 30, 2002 in an Andalusia nursing facility.

funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 1 at 2:30 p.m. at Pleasant Home Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Kelley officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Home Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Ruby Kelley; seven grandchildren, Lary Herrington of Andalusia, Jimmy Herrington of Lucedale, Miss., Joe Herrington of Pascagoula, Miss., Nancy Corcorn of Tampa, Fla., Diane Bass of Andalusia, Judy Smith of Andalusia; Pam Frame, Valparaiso, Indiana; seventeen great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Teel was preceeded in death by her husband, W.G. Teel; daughter, Helen Herrington; son, Olan Teel and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Foreman Funeral Home.

Evelyn Y. Peoples

Evelyn Y. Peoples, 69, of River Falls died Wednesday, August 28, 2002 in Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Fla.

Survivors include two sisters, Ruth Fielding of Chipley, Fla. and Peggy Ann Pettis and husband Ross of Wausau, Fla. and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Thara E. Peoples; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Shumaker, one brother, Charles J. Shumaker; one sister, Naomi I. Foust; one half sister, mona Curtis, two half brothers Jack Shumaker and Homer Shumaker.

Evelyn Y. Peoples worked for Covington Electric for 42 plus years. She retired in January 2001.

Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 at River Falls Baptist Church with Rev. B. Brady and Pastor D. harn officiating.

Burial followed in River Falls Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.
