Eva Piland Sasser

Eva Piland Sasser, 75, of Andalusia died Sunday, October 6, 2002 in an Opp Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Monroe Sasser officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery with

Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Survivors included husband, Rev. Campbell Sasser, Andalusia; niece, Kim (Mo) Saniee of Midland City; great niece, Jasmine Saniee of Midland City; nephews, Chris (Jennifer) Piland of Kinston and Fred (Kathy) Piland of Andalusia, Ricky Piland and family; one sister, Lucille Anderson, of Andalusia and a number of nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to Muscular Dystrophy.

Pallbearers included Virgil Sasser, Donnie Sasser, Dewayne Anderson, Mo Saniee, Chris Piland and Kenneth Bentley.

Hazel Dubose Cater

Hazel Dubose Cater, 97, of Andalusia died Monday, October 7, 2002 in an Andalusia nursing facility.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at

Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Buddy King officiating.

Survivors included one daughter, Janice Merrye Mozley of Wake, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Kathy Mozley of Tallahassee, Fla. and Jenny M. Kelton (John) of Zebulon, NC.; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances Gilmore of Perry, Fla.

Ernest Ray Coons

Ernest Ray Coons, 5, of Andalusia died Friday, October 4, 2002 at Point A.

Graveside funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Minister Jason Green officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Coons Jr. of Andalusia; a brother, Tyler Coons of Andalusia; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Coons Sr. of Shippenburg, Pa.; maternal grandparents, Jean Croft and Donald Croft of York Springs, Pa.; paternal great-grandmother, Irene Coons of Shippenburg, Pa.; maternal great grandmother, Ruth Tanner of York Springs, Pa.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Keefer and John Keefer.

Margaret Louise Odom

Mrs. Margaret Louise Odom, 72, of Andalusia, died Tuesday, October 8, 2002 in a Crestview hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2002 at Foreman Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Robert Marley officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Janice (Albert L.) Law of Albany, Ga.; one son, Eugene (Brenda) Odom of Andalusia; three grandchildren, James Law, Robbie (Heather) Odom, Ricky Odom.; one great-grandchild, Austin Odom; one brother, Leon Jordan of Dozier; one sister, Hazel Worthington of Luverne.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Odom.

Pallbearers are Ray Jordan, Ricky Jordan, Jimmy Marley, Alex Leonard, Dane Adams, Gary Thornton.

Paul Thomas Case

Mr. Paul Thomas Case, 55, of Andalusia died Monday, October 7, 2002 in an Andalusia Hospital.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Stonelake Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Joel Faircloth will officiating. Special music will be provided by Don Lingle.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Keahey Funeral

Home.

Survivors include a son, Tommy Lee Case; brother, John Case of Andalusia; three sisters, Louise Cooper of Fallston, N.C., Elizabeth Mote, King Mt., N.C.; Martha McKinnes, King Mt., N.C..

Pallbearers include Gordon Vickers, Ricky Jones, Alan Cotton, John Collier, John Hill, Joe Wagner.
