The victim of a fatal single-vehicle accident which occurred Friday, Oct. 25 on Covington County Road 63 near the Good Hope Church in the Dozier community has been identified, according to a family member of the victim.

The wreck occurred approximately 200 yards from the church, according to the family member.

Forensic investigators continue to investigate the accident which killed 46-year-old Terry Ray Rodgers of Dozier, according to the family member.

Rodgers is survived by a son, Daniel Ray Rodgers, of Dozier; two daughters, Amy Lynn Rodgers and Kelly Ann Rodgers, both of Dozier; his mother, Martha Rodgers, of Dozier; a sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Larry Harold, of Gantt, as well as four nieces and nephews.

Visitation services were held Thursday evening, and funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. this morning at the Foreman Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel.
