Red Level Tigers split with Brantley

Red Level School was rocking as the Brantley Bulldogs visited the Tiger Den on Monday night for high school basketball action.

Red Level won the varsity boys' and B-team games, but dropped the girls' game.

The varsity Tigers earned a win against the visiting Bulldogs by a final score of 78-61 as Frank Tolbert poured in 33 points. Dexter Brundidge did his part, too. Brundidge hit for 21 points in the win.

Antonio Harris and Larry Hudson had seven points each in the win. Will McInvale added four. Randy Howard, Randall Hunt and Chris Hendrix had two points each.

Devon Person paced Brantley with 28 and Terrell Foster added 10.

In the B-team game, Justin Griggs and Malcolm Lawson both scored 11 points as the Tigers earned a 52-39 win.

Dominic Williams added seven points for Red Level. Joey Harper and Cody Ingram had six points each.

The Lady Bulldogs won the girls' game outscoring the Lady Tigers 56-48.

Taminesha Burnett paced Brantley with 21 points. Sherrie Gulley and Tootie Wiley had eight points each for Brantley.

Straughn's Gabrielle DeRouen had 15. Kim Anderson had 12. Danielle DeRouen had 11. Victoria Ferrell had 10.
