The Covington County School System High School Baseball Tournament's third game was scheduled to be played today at the Red Level High School baseball field.
Mother Nature changed that with a huge downpour Thursday afternoon.
The heavy rains and lightning caused the game between the Straughn Tigers and Florala Wildcats to be called off in the second inning with Straughn on top 9-0.
It also caused tournament officials to think about ways to get the game played as well as the rest of the tournament games.
Red Level Head Coach Tony Ingram said the schedule has been changed.
The next game to be played is now slated to be a ,match-up between the Red Level Tigers and Straughn Tigers at 1 p.m. today if the field is in playing condition and weather permits.
High school baseball fans can contact the Red Level School office for more information or to confirm today's game will be played.
