Thankful for all the help

Dear Editor:

I am writing to thank Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Laird. Also a forest ranger and another nice lady that I didn't get her name. Also Doug Tisdale of Faith EMS. I had a wreck on February 21, 2003. My 5-year-old son was on our way home when I hit a guard rail on Highway 84. It was raining but the nice lady, the ranger, Mr. and Mrs. Laird didn't hesitate

to get out in the rain to help me. They stayed in the rain trying to calm me down before Doug Tisdale of Faith EMS came. They took my son and put him in the ranger's truck out of the rain. They stood out there and calmed me down because I was scared they called my family for me. I am glad there are people that still care enough to stop and help others. As for Doug Tisdale, I wish we could have met in a different circumstance, I have been reading what the city is trying to do to your ambulance service. I think it is good to have two ambulance services. The more the betty to help. Keep fighting. Maybe people will realize you are just trying to help others. I for one am glad you were called to help me and my son on Feb. 21. Because on the way to the hospital you told me a couple of little stories and got my mind off my accident for a few minutes and I am grateful for that. I would like to say thank you to all of you. Thank you all for being so kind as to stop in the rain and help me and my son.
