Tigers now 3-3 in area

The Red Level Tigers fell to 3-3 in area play with a 15-5 loss to the New Brockton Gamecocks on Friday.
The Tigers fell behind 12-0 in the top of the second inning. The score was 12-1 going into the third inning.
Red Level's runs came from Chaz Maloy and Frank Tolbert. Maloy scored three runs. Tolbert scored twice.
Red Level is now 10-8 overall and 3-3 in area play.
On Thursday, the Red Level Tigers clawed out a win against the Samson Tigers by a final score of 5-3.
Russell Rigdon pitched a two-hitter through six innings and did not issue a walk. He struck out seven.
Chris Johnson came in to pitch the seventh inning and got the save retiring two of the batters he faced with strikeouts.
Johnson and Rigdon also did their part with the bat for the Red Level Tigers. Each of the pitchers went 1-for-3 at the plate and scored a run.
Kyle Skipper did the most damaged against the Samson Tigers going 2-for-3 in the game with a two-run home run. He ended the game with one run scored and two RBIs.
Larry Hudson was 1-for-3 in the win with one run scored and one RBI.
Dusty Lee was 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Joseph Harper also scored a run in the win.
The Red Level Tigers are scheduled to return to the diamond on Monday, April 14 when they host the Pleasant Home Eagles for a 3:30 p.m. game
The final game of the regular season for the Tigers is slated for Monday, April 21 when they travel to Pleasant Home for a 4:30 p.m. game against the Eagles.
