Landscape awards to be offered

Dear Editor:

The City of Andalusia Community Enhancement Committee is proud to announce the Andalusia Enhancement Award. The award will be given for landscaping excellence at a business and a residence; the committee will periodically announce its selections.

Award recipients will receive a certificate and an award sign will be posted in the chosen area.

The Andalusia Star-News will publish an article about the property owners and their accomplishments,.

Award applications,(business or residential) are available at the Department of Leisure Services, the Andalusia City Hall and the Andalusia Chamber of Commerce.

By creating this award, the Community Enhancement Committee knows Andalusia will become a more progressive town. We ask area citizens to participate.
