GOLF TOURNAMENT

A two-person scramble golf tournament will be held at the Evans Barnes Golf Course on the campus of LBW Community College in Andalusia on Saturday, June 14. The cost of the tournament is $60 per team. The registration fee includes a complimentary lunch for participating teams. The tournament will consist of two flights and is open to the first 20 paid teams. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top four finishers. For more information contact Scott Crum at 222-8400.

BULLDOG BOOSTER CLUB

The Andalusia High School Bulldog Booster Club will hold a meeting Monday, June 16 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Umpire's Shack at the Andalusia Softball Complex.

POWERCHAIR SOCCER

A Powerchair Soccer League is forming. Anyone interested in the league should contact J.J. Seice at 222-3512. Powerchair soccer is played with four people per team using an oversized soccer ball on a basketball court.

SOFTBALL CAMP

The Alabama State Champion Wallace-Dothan Lady Governors will host a softball camp June 18-20. The camp will be held on the campus of Wallace-Dothan in Dothan. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to noon each day. Campers will be schooled in the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, pitching and base running. Campers are asked to bring their own glove and shoes. SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

MICHAEL COUCH FUND

The American Legion Post 80 baseball players and their parents are selling Boston butts for $20 each. The proceeds from the sale of the Boston butts will be donated to the Michael Couch Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Boston butts may be picked up beginning Thursday, July 3. BASKETBALL CAMP

LBW Community College will hold a basketball camp for children ages 8 to 16 July 7-11 from 8:30 a.m. to noon each day in the Seth Hammett Gymnasium on the school campus. The cost of the camp is $40 per student. Registration will be held the first day of the camp. Each camper will receive a T-shirt.
