George W. Pittman

George W. Pittman, 82, of Red Level, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at his residence.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 30 at the South Church of God with Rev. Glenn Vaughn and Rev. Gary Holloway officiating. Special music was provided by the family. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include wife, Eunice Odom Pittman of Red Level; sons and daughters-in-law, Dearl and Mary A. Pittman of Crestview, Fla. and Gerald and Lynda Pittman of Red Level; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Robert Kirkland of McKenzie; daughter, Agnes Griggs of Red Level; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Bryan Griggs and Timothy Bringhurst.

Pallbearers were Larry Pittman, Mark Pittman, Mark Pittman Jr., Michael Pittman, Hayward Merritt and Terry Leddon.

Eunice Johnson

Eunice Johnson, 76, of Andalusia, died May 30, 2003, in an Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2003 at the Southside Baptist Church with burial following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Earl Currenton officiating. Special music was provided by Tom and Gail Parsons accompanied by Vandalyn Maddox.

Survivors include her husband, Fred Johnson of Andalusia; her daughters, Beverly Kay (Larry) Suits of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Linda Jo (Jimmy) Vick of Andalusia; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Wayne (Staci) Suits and Tammy (Stephen) Hudson; great-grandchildren, Holly, Hunter, Hayden Hudson; two sisters, Lera Adams of Andalusia and Mildred (James) Parrish of Opp; a brother, William J. Langford of Huntsville.

Pallbearers were Jeffrey Suits, Stephen Hudson, Johnny Fuqua, James Parrish, Steve Godwin and Bo Fuqua.

Lois Wishum

Lois Wishum, of Andalusia died Friday, May 30, 2003 in an Andalusia nursing home.

Funeral services will be

held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at the First United Methodist Church with burial in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery, Foreman Funeral Home directing with Rev. Judd Stinson officiating.

Survivors include her daughters, Ann (Carl) Jeffcoat of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Joan (Bob) Reid of Andalusia and Carol (Tom) Harris of Atlanta; sons, Jerry (Wynora) Wishum of Andalusia and Tim (Jane) Wishum of Alexander City; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Michael Reid, Benjamin Jeffcoat, Reggy Powell, John Vick, David Reid and Fred Winkler.

Sarah Frances Grimes

Sarah Frances Grimes, 67, of Dozier died Saturday, May 31, 2003 in an Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2003 from the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Burial in the Friendship Cemetery in the Bullock Community of Crenshaw County. Foreman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her sons, Donal Grimes, Raymond Grimes, David Grimes, Tony Grimes, Lavon (Laura) Grimes and Donald R. Grimes, all of Dozier; her daguthers, Phyllis (Kenneth) Maddox of Elba and Crystal Grimes of Dozier; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; her brothers, Theron Senn of Brantley, Robert Senn, Gene Senn and Quitman Senn all of Honoraville; a sister, Carolyn (Bobby) Sims of Dozier.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ras and Redie Parrish Senn, her husband, Ray Grimes and her brothers, Willie Earl Senn and Wayne "Peanut" Senn

Pallbearers will be Chris Morrow, Johnny Senn, Doug Senn, Charles Senn, Ricky Worley and Donnie Barnes.
