Rain washed out the four-team tournament the American Legion Post 80 baseball team planned to host Saturday.

The rain, however, could not wipe out the entire weekend as the Post 80 squad traveled to Enterprise for a game on Sunday.

Post 80 scored 10 runs for a 10-3 win. Will Cammack started the game on the mound for Post 80 and pitched five scoreless innings.

Cammack allowed just two hits and struck out eight in the game. Tra Curry pitched one inning and allowed one run in the sixth inning. Chris Johnson pitched the seventh inning and allowed two runs.

Post 80 had a comfortable advantage by the time Enterprise scored. Three runs came home in the top of the first inning when Chase Arrington, Neal Patterson and Cole Sightler each scored.

Trevor Mathews and Arrington scored in the top of the third to give Post 80 a 5-0 lead.

Scotty McCraney added a run in the fourth inning after reaching on an error for a 6-0 lead.

Post 80 brought out the heavy artillery in the top of the sixth inning and added four more runs for a 10-0 lead when Chase Glisson, Mathews, Arrington and Patterson scored.

The Enterprise squad managed to score one run in the bottom of the sixth and two in the seventh. Post 80, however, held on for a 10-3 win.

Patterson ended the game with four RBIs. Mathews, Tyler Wilson, Sightler and Chaz Maloy had one RBI each in the win.

The Post 80 squad is slated to return to the diamond today when the team travels to Ozark for two five-inning contests. The first game is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.

Opp is scheduled to visit Andalusia to take on the Post 80 team on Wednesday. The first pitch is set for 7 p.m.
