Covington County residents were arrested by the Covington County 22nd Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force (DTF) Wednesday on drug related charges.
DTF agents went to a residence in Andalusia to serve warrants on Nicole Rae Stuart, 19, of Andalusia.
During the process of serving the warrants, she and her mother, 44-year-old Susan Stuart, also of Andalusia, were found to be in possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and smoking devices.
Both persons were arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana in the second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The two subjects were taken to the Covington County Jail where their bonds were set at $16,000 apiece.
Also on Wednesday, Opp Housing and Urban Development (HUD) officers Chris Inabinett and Brock Gwaltney went to a residence on Barnes Street in Opp to execute a failure to appear warrant on 43-year-old Larrie Earl Jones from Geneva County.
During a pat down, a metal smoking device was located and DTF officers were notified.
After they arrived Jones was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jones was then taken to the Covington County Jail.
